Musically I was lucky to play in all the K-12 school bands like jazz, symphonic, marching, each with brilliant directors and mentors. Buuuuut tbh most was learned making music with my besties, and building my own private practice.

Visually I’ve been making most of the goodies for my bands, as well as artists on my record label, Sleepy Cat. This includes flyers, posters, videos, logos, photos, websites, and on and on. Lately, I’ve been most enjoying high-level art direction, working to bring intention and balance to the visual universe of any project.

Technically I learned oodles of valuable skills through my time at my family’s business, Polestar Pilates. Here I learned the in’s and out’s like: leadership, communication, branding, project management, infrastructure, culture, basic business practices, corporate software etc.

Socially I’ve been fascinated since I can remember by how people relate to one another, and how and why we do things. Through my personal relating practice of poly/anarchy I’ve learned how to communicate complex feelings, grieve, love, define and communicate boundaries for myself, and respect boundaries from others, not to mention manage a calendar.

Currently I’m running Sleepy Cat Records, drumming in bands like T. Gold and Blue Cactus, teaching lessons, consulting buddies, bringing my solo art projects to fruition, and spending time with all my people.

Please reach out about anything at all!

I live in Carrboro, NC. I love to learn new things and bring ideas to life with others. Most of my skills are self-taught over a couple decades of making art with friends, and most recently running a record label.
